In 1973 Frank Frazetta conjured a creature that had still been seen or defined since. The Death Dealer is a menacing figure, seated on a horse, wielding a bearded ax with death and debris all around him.

His face, hidden in the shadows, pierces the soul with bright crimson eyes for anyone who looks at them. This iconic figure has wowed and inspired generations of Frazetta artists and fans alike.

Frazetta was considered the master of fantasy art. He had the unique ability to inspire viewers to see more of what was on the surface of his works. He painted a handful of variations of the Death Dealer during his career.

Quarantine Studio wanted to take this legendary figure out of the shadows and reveal the details that Frazetta has hidden so masterfully in his work. The sixth scale statue represents the revised version of the "Death Dealer 3" painting with a faithful and detailed depiction of the Death Dealer standing in the debris of the battlefield.

This statue is fully licensed by the Frazetta Art Museum. A portion of the sales of each statue is donated to the museum to help keep Frank's work for future generations to see and enjoy. We were honored to work with the Frazetta Art Museum on this piece and help them continue sharing the incredible work of Frank Frazetta Sr.
